Hundreds of Old Order Amish families make their home here in the center of the U.S. population, and special tours are available so you can see firsthand the centuries-old customs of how real Amish folk live. And there's much, much more in this old and surprising land.

Daviess County Has Talent

The Daviess County Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a talent show on Wednesday, August 5th, 2009 at 6:00 PM. To learn more information on the rules, prizes, concessions, and half-pot drawings please click here or check out the event on Facebook.

Daviess County 's Wine, Cheese,

                & Art Festival  

The Daviess County Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce our Wine, Cheese, & Art Festival being held on Friday, September 4th from 5-8:00 PM. This celebration will take place at 122 E. Main Street located in downtown Washington, IN. We look forward to some fabulous wines, great cheese, beautiful artwork and great live music.

Each adult (21+) will be given ten wine tasting tickets and a commemorative glass at the gate for the $10 admission price. The proceeds of this event will go towards the ongoing revitalization projects located within Daviess County. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at (812)254-5262.
