Second Annual Hometown Heritage Celebration 2006

Based on the great turnout and unquestioned success of the first Hometown Heritage Celebration, planning is underway for next year's summer event that promises to be even better! For two weeks you will have the opportunity to join in the celebration, and bring the family for delicious food and fun activities. The addition of the Railroad History Festival guarantees to be a must-see event for young and old alike. The history of the railroad in Daviess County is rich and exciting, with Washington containing unique portions of the B&O, Milwaukee Road, and New York Central systems.
